| 16 to 30kg | 2 scoops |
| 31 to 45kg | 3 scoops |
| Over 45kg | 4 scoops |

Why choose our Joint Support Powder
The same seven actives as our joint tablets, in the format that gets eaten by dogs who will not take a tablet.
This is the format for the dog who finds the tablet in the cheese every time. Stir a scoop through wet or dry food and it goes down with the meal.
Glucosamine sulphate 250mg, collagen peptides 165mg, green lipped mussel 150mg, MSM 125mg, turmeric extract 15mg, hyaluronic acid 5mg and manganese 5mg per scoop.
One scoop for a small dog up to four for the largest breeds, with a higher amount permitted for the first four to six weeks.
Around 16mg per scoop, declared among the additives rather than on the front of the label, alongside the collagen peptides.
Buy this one for the format, not the price
A scoop of this powder and one of our joint tablets deliver the same actives, give or take a little extra collagen in the powder. Glucosamine sulphate 250mg, green lipped mussel 150mg, MSM 125mg, turmeric 15mg, hyaluronic acid and manganese at 5mg each, plus around 16mg of vitamin C.
What differs is cost and convenience. A scoop works out at about 27p against 11.7p for a tablet from the 300 pack. Powders cost more to make palatable, and the tub carries a maltodextrin base so the powder mixes cleanly rather than clumping. If your dog reliably eats tablets, buy the tablets. If every tablet ends up on the kitchen floor, this is the one that will actually get taken, and a supplement your dog refuses is worth nothing at any price.
The scoop provided holds 2g. Use the chart below to work out how many your dog needs.
It blends into wet or dry food. No wrestling, no hiding it in cheese.
You may give a higher daily amount to begin with, then drop back to the standard level.
How our joint powder compares
A lot of dog joint powders lead on one ingredient, leave out the quantities, and expect you to guess the dose.
| Our Joint Powder | Typical dog joint powder | |
|---|---|---|
| Active ingredients | Seven, plus vitamin C | Often glucosamine alone |
| Glucosamine per scoop | 250mg | Often unstated |
| Collagen peptides | 165mg | Rarely included |
| Green lipped mussel | 150mg | Rarely included |
| Scoop supplied | Often a guess | |
| Feeding guide by weight | Often missing | |
| Made in the UK | Varies |
How to run it
The label allows a raised daily amount for the first four to six weeks, up to twice the standard level. Do not go beyond that.
Revert to the weight-based amount on the chart and keep it going daily rather than in bursts.
For an older dog, or one already under veterinary care, review how they are getting on as part of their wider mobility plan.

Description
Dog Joint Support Powder - Glucosamine, Collagen and Green-Lipped Mussel with Chicken Flavour
Support your dog's joints with a multi-ingredient powder they will actually want to eat. Supplements Wise Dog Joint Support Powder combines glucosamine, hydrolysed collagen peptides, green-lipped mussel, MSM, turmeric extract, hyaluronic acid, and manganese in a chicken-flavoured formula designed to mix easily into your dog's meal. Just scoop, mix, and serve.
Seven Active Ingredients in Every Scoop
This is not a single-ingredient supplement. Each scoop delivers 250mg glucosamine sulphate, 165mg hydrolysed collagen peptides, 150mg green-lipped mussel powder, 125mg MSM, 15mg turmeric extract, 5mg hyaluronic acid, and 5mg manganese. By combining these seven ingredients in a single daily powder, you are providing broad nutritional support for your dog's joints without needing to juggle multiple products. The hydrolysed collagen peptides are broken down for easier absorption, while the green-lipped mussel is sourced from New Zealand and naturally contains a range of nutrients.

Chicken Flavour Dogs Love
The best supplement is the one your dog will actually take. No wrestling with tablets, no hiding capsules in cheese. The fine powder blends easily into wet or dry food, and the included measuring scoop takes the guesswork out of dosing. Each tub comes with clear weight-based feeding guidelines so you always know exactly how much to give.

Frequently asked questions
How many scoops should I give my dog?
Once a day, by bodyweight, using the 2g scoop provided:
Up to 15kg, one scoop. 16 to 30kg, two. 31 to 45kg, three. Over 45kg, four.
For the first four to six weeks you may give a higher amount, up to twice the standard level, then revert. Do not exceed twice the recommended daily amount.
Powder or tablets? An honest answer
Buy the powder for one reason: your dog will not take a tablet. That is a good reason, and it is the reason this product exists. If your dog eats the tablets happily, the tablets are better value and it is not close.
A scoop and a tablet deliver the same actives, give or take 15mg more collagen in the powder. What differs is the price of a daily dose:
This powder works out at about 27p per scoop. The 120 tablets are 16.6p each. The 300 tablets are 11.7p each.
So the powder costs roughly 60% more per dose than the 120 pack, and more than double the 300 pack. Some of that is simply what it costs to make a palatable powder rather than press a tablet. If mixing it into food is what gets it eaten every day, it is money well spent. If it is not, buy the tablets.
What is actually in a scoop?
Seven declared actives: glucosamine sulphate 250mg, hydrolysed collagen peptides 165mg, green lipped mussel powder 150mg, MSM 125mg, turmeric extract 15mg, hyaluronic acid 5mg and manganese 5mg. There is also vitamin C as calcium ascorbate at roughly 16mg, and a yeast-based chicken flavour.
The rest of the 2g scoop is maltodextrin, which is the carrier that makes a fine powder mix cleanly into food rather than clumping. It accounts for a little over 60% of the tub by weight. That is normal for a powdered supplement, but it is worth knowing what you are scooping.
How long does a tub last?
150g at 2g a scoop is 75 scoops.
A small dog under 15kg on one scoop a day gets about ten weeks. A 20kg dog on two scoops gets about five weeks. A large breed on four scoops gets under three weeks.
For a big dog this is a fast-moving tub, which is worth factoring in before you compare it with the tablets.
My dog's breath smells fishy since starting it
That will be the green lipped mussel, which is a shellfish and does carry a marine smell. Some owners notice it on the breath, and occasionally a pale dog picks up a slight tinge on the chin fur where the powder sits.
Mixing it thoroughly through wet food rather than sprinkling it on top helps. If it bothers you, the tablet version contains the same mussel but keeps it enclosed until it is swallowed.
Does it contain shellfish?
Yes. Green lipped mussel powder is a mollusc, so this contains shellfish. Worth knowing if anyone handling the tub has a shellfish allergy, or if your dog has a diagnosed food sensitivity.
Does it contain chondroitin?
No. Hydrolysed collagen peptides take that role in this formula.
We mention it because some older listings for our joint range referred to chondroitin, so if that is specifically what you are after, this is not the one.
Can I give it alongside my other joint supplements?
Check the labels first. This formula already contains green lipped mussel at 150mg and turmeric extract at 15mg per scoop.
If you also give our Green Lipped Mussel or Turmeric for Dogs, you are stacking those two. Both standalone products are considerably higher strength, so that may be deliberate, but it should be a decision rather than an accident.
Can puppies have it?
Speak to your vet before giving joint supplements to a young dog. Their requirements differ from an adult's and we have no separate feeding guidance for them.
Fresh, clean drinking water should always be available.
What is your returns policy?
Every order is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. If it is not for you, contact us and we will refund you, no questions asked.
