How much for your dog
Once a day, by bodyweight. Tablets can be given whole, added to food, or crushed.
| Dog weight | Tablets per day |
|---|---|
| Up to 15kg | 1 tablet |
| 16 to 30kg | 2 tablets |
| 31 to 45kg | 3 tablets |
| Over 45kg | 4 tablets |
For the first four to six weeks the daily amount may be increased, then revert to the standard level. Do not exceed twice the recommended daily amount. Not suitable for puppies under 12 weeks, or for pregnant or lactating dogs.
Why choose our Dog Joint Support
Seven actives with the amounts printed on every one, a flavour most dogs will take, and a feeding chart by weight.
Glucosamine sulphate 250mg, collagen peptides 150mg, green lipped mussel 150mg, MSM 125mg, turmeric 15mg, hyaluronic acid 5mg and manganese 5mg per tablet.
Around 15mg per tablet, declared among the additives rather than on the front of the label. It sits alongside the collagen peptides in the formula.
One tablet for a small dog up to four for the largest breeds, with a higher amount permitted for the first four to six weeks.
A yeast-based chicken flavour, so most dogs take it willingly. Give it whole, in food, or crushed for a fussy eater.
Seven ingredients, and why the amounts matter
Most dog joint supplements are glucosamine and not much else, and a good number do not tell you how much of it you are getting. This one lists all seven actives with a milligram figure against each: glucosamine sulphate 250mg, collagen peptides 150mg, green lipped mussel 150mg, MSM 125mg, turmeric 15mg, hyaluronic acid 5mg and manganese 5mg per tablet.
The formula was updated so that hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides replaced the chondroitin used previously. There is also vitamin C in the additive declaration, around 15mg a tablet, which does not appear on the front of the label but is part of what you are buying.
One tablet per day up to 15kg, rising to four over 45kg. The chart is below.
You may give a higher daily amount to begin with, then drop back to the standard level.
Most dogs take it as a treat. Crushing it into wet food works for the suspicious ones.
How our joint formula compares
A lot of dog joint products lead on one ingredient and stay quiet about the quantities.
| Our Joint Support | Typical dog joint supplement | |
|---|---|---|
| Active ingredients | Seven, plus vitamin C | Often glucosamine alone |
| Glucosamine per tablet | 250mg | Often unstated |
| Collagen peptides | 150mg | Rarely included |
| Green lipped mussel | 150mg | Rarely included |
| Tablets per pack | 300 | 60 to 120 |
| Cost per tablet | 11.7p | Typically higher |
| Made in the UK | Varies |
How to run it
The label allows a raised daily amount for the first four to six weeks, up to twice the standard level. Do not go beyond that.
Revert to the weight-based amount on the chart and keep it going daily. This is where a 300 pack earns its keep.
For an older dog, or one already under veterinary care, review how they are getting on as part of their wider mobility plan.

Description
Dog Joint Support Tablets
If your senior dog is slower on walks, hesitant on stairs, or takes a while to get going after a nap, their joints could benefit from daily nutritional support. Dog Joint Support Tablets combine seven carefully selected ingredients - including hydrolysed collagen peptides - to support normal joint function and everyday mobility as part of your dog's balanced diet.
Why This Formula Is Different
Many joint supplements rely on glucosamine alone. This updated formula brings together seven active ingredients that each contribute something different. The standout addition is hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides, which provide the amino acid building blocks commonly found in connective tissue. Alongside glucosamine, green lipped mussel, MSM, turmeric, hyaluronic acid, and manganese, this is a genuinely comprehensive daily joint formula - not a single-ingredient supplement.
What You Get in Every Tablet
- Glucosamine Sulphate (250mg): One of the most widely used ingredients in joint-focused nutrition for dogs and humans alike.
- Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides (150mg): A bioavailable source of collagen amino acids, commonly included in joint and connective tissue formulas.
- Green Lipped Mussel Powder (150mg): A marine-derived ingredient from New Zealand, naturally containing a range of nutrients used in joint support.
- MSM (125mg): Methylsulfonylmethane — a natural source of sulphur, widely included in joint care supplements.
- Turmeric (15mg): A botanical with a long history of use in joint-focused nutrition.
- Hyaluronic Acid (5mg): A naturally occurring compound found in joint fluid and connective tissue.
- Manganese (5mg): An essential mineral that contributes to normal connective tissue formation.
Quality You Can Trust
Manufactured in the UK to strict GMP standards. Chicken flavoured for easy administration - most dogs accept these willingly. Clearly labelled with every ingredient and dosage listed. Tablets can be given whole, added to food, or crushed for fussy eaters.

Frequently asked questions
How many tablets should I give my dog?
By bodyweight, once a day:
Up to 15kg, one tablet. 16 to 30kg, two. 31 to 45kg, three. Over 45kg, four.
For the first four to six weeks you may give a higher amount, up to twice the standard level, then revert. Do not exceed twice the recommended daily amount. If your dog is under veterinary care, check first.
Should I buy the 300 or the 120?
Identical formula, identical tablets. The only difference is how many you get and what each one costs.
This 300 pack works out at 11.7p per tablet. For a 16 to 30kg dog on two a day, that is about five months.
The 120 pack is 16.6p per tablet, roughly two months for the same dog.
The 300 is around 30% cheaper per tablet. Joint support is a long game rather than a short course, so if you have settled on it, the bigger pack is the sensible buy. Start with the 120 if you are trying it for the first time.
What is actually in a tablet?
Seven declared actives: glucosamine sulphate 250mg, hydrolysed collagen peptides 150mg, green lipped mussel powder 150mg, MSM 125mg, turmeric 15mg, hyaluronic acid 5mg and manganese 5mg.
The additives also include vitamin C as calcium ascorbate, which works out at roughly 15mg a tablet, plus a yeast-based chicken flavour at 3.75mg. Holding it together are microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.
Does it contain chondroitin?
No, not any more. The formula was updated and hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides replaced the chondroitin.
We mention it because older listings and packaging for this product referred to chondroitin, so if that is what you are looking for, this is no longer the one.
Is the chicken flavour real chicken?
No. It is a yeast-based chicken flavouring at 3.75mg per tablet, and the product contains no actual chicken.
Worth knowing if your dog is on an exclusion diet, though it does mean the flavour is not a poultry allergen.
Does it contain shellfish?
Yes. Green lipped mussel powder is a mollusc, so these tablets contain shellfish.
That matters if anyone handling the tablets has a shellfish allergy, and it is worth knowing if your dog has a diagnosed food sensitivity.
Can I give it alongside my other joint supplements?
Check the labels first, because you may be paying twice for the same thing. This formula already contains green lipped mussel at 150mg and turmeric at 15mg per tablet.
If you also give our Green Lipped Mussel or Turmeric for Dogs, you are stacking those two ingredients. That is not necessarily wrong, since both standalone products are considerably higher strength, but it should be a decision rather than an accident. Ask your vet if you are unsure.
Can puppies have them?
Not below 12 weeks of age, and they are not suitable for pregnant or lactating dogs.
For a puppy over 12 weeks, dose on their current weight rather than their expected adult weight.
How long does a pack last?
300 tablets, so it depends on size. A small dog under 15kg on one a day gets about ten months. A 20kg dog on two a day gets five months. A large breed on four a day gets about two and a half months.
What is your returns policy?
Every order is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. If it is not for you, contact us and we will refund you, no questions asked.
