Probiotics for Dogs

Your dog's digestion affects everything - their energy, their coat, their comfort after meals. Whether your dog has a sensitive stomach, is transitioning to new food, or you simply want to support their everyday gut balance, a daily probiotic can become a valuable part of their routine.

Why This Formula Goes Further

Most dog probiotics contain bacteria alone. This one combines live cultures, prebiotic fibre and digestive enzymes in every tablet - three forms of digestive support in one. The prebiotic inulin from chicory root feeds beneficial gut bacteria. The enzyme complex supports the normal breakdown of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and fibre. Together, they make this a more complete daily formula than a probiotic on its own.

What You Get

  • 5 live bacterial strains (2 billion CFU per tablet): Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. brevis, Bifidobacterium lactis, L. rhamnosus, and L. plantarum - strains commonly used in canine nutrition.
  • Prebiotic inulin from chicory root: A natural fibre source that nourishes beneficial bacteria already present in the gut.
  • 6 digestive enzymes (150mg complex): Amylase, bromelain, protease, lipase, cellulase, and lactase - derived from natural plant sources to support normal digestion.
  • Chicken-flavoured tablets: Easy daily administration - most dogs accept them willingly. Does not contain actual chicken, only yeast-based flavouring.
  • 120-tablet supply: Up to 4 months for a small dog, 1 month for a 25kg dog.

A: Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that help maintain normal digestive balance as part of a balanced diet. They are commonly included in pet nutrition to support everyday gut wellbeing.

Q: What is the difference between probiotics and prebiotics?

A: Probiotics are live beneficial bacteria. Prebiotics are fibres (like inulin) that feed those bacteria. This formula contains both, so the probiotics are supported from the start.

Q: Can I give this to my dog every day?

A: Yes. This supplement is designed for daily use as part of your dog's regular feeding routine.

Q: Is this suitable for all dog breeds?

A: Yes. Follow the dosage guide based on your dog's weight. Suitable for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Not recommended for puppies under 12 weeks.

Q: Can I mix the tablet with food?

A: Yes. Tablets can be given whole or mixed with food for easy administration.

Q: Is the chicken flavour real chicken?

A: No. The chicken flavouring is yeast-based. The product does not contain actual chicken and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Q: How long should my dog take probiotics?

A: Probiotics are typically used as part of an ongoing daily routine. Individual needs may vary. If your dog is under veterinary care, consult your vet before starting.

Q: Why are digestive enzymes included?

A: The 6 digestive enzymes support the normal breakdown of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and fibre. This complements the probiotic and prebiotic action for more complete digestive support.
